NE OHIO Anyone use Richards Maple in Chardon?

Anyone ever get any maple syrup supplies from Richards maple in Chardon Ohio? Looking for some finishing supplies like filters and a hydrometer.

Says they carry products from Leader, just looking for some savings on shipping if they have what I need. Thanks in advance

Evans keeps a good stock of supplies, not a store, call ahead. If you want supplies other than Leader, Gingerich , are Lapierre dealers just south of Middlefield. They have a full stock of supplies.440-478-6201 with gas what it is I would call ahead to be sure who ever has what you want. I don't know where you are from but there is Roger Gortner in West Salem, Ohio down 71.

Richards has a pretty complete inventory of supplies, filters, fittings, bottles - you name it and it's probably there someplace.

I buy there all the time - bought the 2x6 evaporator from them. Stop in and see what they have -you won't regret it. Mostly all family and lots of fun to deal with.

Ya Richards is great. Most of the stuff from leader is the same price as their catalog. I get my Orlon and prefilters from there and bought lots of my original equipment like hydrometers, etc.
Spiles and buckets are kinda pricey but I get those used or online from Anderson Maple in Wisconsin. Dave is a great Guy and has been in the business for a long time... always willing to help.
Oh ya, and they have nice 12 ounce glassware for syrup that are a great price!

Thanks for the good info on Richards. Sounds like I better take cash and leave when it's gone. Plan on calling up there tomorrow and see if they got filters and a hydro for sure heck maybe some glass too.

Woodburner what's with the place on West Salem I'm kinda in between with where I work and live so I can hike it to either one. Any more info one that place too. No idea there's so many options to get stuff around here.

Delt with richards, sugarbush farms and Evans. Out of the three Evans has all my buisness great guy to deal with first impressions goes along way. Has helped me alot.
