Well I was having a great night and was well into my second batch of the season and when it came close to time to draw off I guess I got kinda greedy and tried to boil it down as far as possible so as to avoid a long finishing boil on my propane stove and got a burned spot about the size of a small dinner plate in my pan. I think it will clean out ok but man it was not good to see it happen. After that I tested my syrup that I thought I would have to finish off and it was over done. Hopefully when I sober up tomorrow I will be able to clean up my pan and retest my syrup. But What a fun time was had tonight !!!!!
