Checked several hard maple and reds today to see what the sugar was at.
The reds 2.2 to 3.8
Hard maple 2.2 to 4.5
So if all sap comes in at 2.2 it will only take 39 gallons to make a gallon,I can live with that. But if all reds and hards have these kind of numbers the average should be closer to 3%
