Just started to run today, about 1:00 as the sun isn't that strong and a cool north breeze up here.Tomorrow sounds like the day!

We're running in Bowdoin today as well, even with the breeze it seems to be breaking loose.

Walking by one tree and heard a hiss, It was leaking around the spile, and this is on a gravity line! I heard it two feet away, a good sign that its working.

Been little teaser runs here, 50 to 100 last couple of days but sure does look good for tomorrow.
Tomorrow could be huge! I think it will be about a half gallon per tap day, or more.
I hope we have enough storage for it. I think we may have created a monster! We have around 300 taps, and the trees are getting bigger each year. We just boiled off all the sap we got today, 150 gallons, and maybe another 200 is coming tomorrow. Or 250! Who knows?

Ran hard all day in Sumner. I got a little over a gallon per tap (with vacuum). 15 hours behind now... it'll be a long one tomorrow!
We got about 150 gallons at least today, but there may have been more because we were boiling full steam and couldn't keep up with inflow at one point. Could it have been coming in at 40 gallons per hour from 300 taps? All I know is that we have been boiling nonstop for the past 2 days and it looks like tomorrow we'll be boiling too. This is the run of 2011!
