Good little run

Hi All. I Finely got the rest of my taps in on the 10th. 35 this year. on the 11th I got 7 and 1/2 gal of sap. not much compared to you big guys, but out of that little bit I got some of the prettiest syrup I have have ever made!!! 1 quart + 1 pint and 1/4 cup for morning. I'm lucky because I'm the only one that uses it.

I forgot to add I'm in the mid coast area.

Funny how it goes, but no syrup you ever make will be as good as that from those dozen trees on the front lawn. I trully enjoy 200 taps and a true evaporator but it was more fun with 25 taps and a grease drum evaporator.
