My memory recalls an article concerning the sterilizing effect of sun light on bacterial growth--or lack thereof--in sap gathered in PE bags.

The only thing I can now find of any relevance is the Frank and Willits 1958 article.

Any Help? Was there any follow-on?

The Naghski and Willits article in the Journal of Food Technology, 1953, seems to be the likely source.

Does anyone have a copy of this article they could share?
