I did not notice until I was cleaning my pan that at the end of each channel were the cut away exist my pan has about a 1/16 inch high rise on bottom of the pan. Looks like the partiction was welded and then the cut away were made. Is There a reason for that to be left there. My old pan from same mfg never had that?
