.... until you take the little balls out.
they're perfect to drop in the glass tubes on your head tank and flue pan
they make the surface much easier to see at a distance.
just hope they don't get stuck all over the sides when they get sappy.

thinking I'll be ready to start the vac tomorrow night or Sat AM.
Sap discs we collected from buckets a week ago are still frozen in the reserve tank. Raining like :o but no good runs.
The GAST vac ran like a champ last year. Going to run a pair this year to try to get from 20-21" of last year up to 24 or so this year.

My Masdport Senoir has a chipped vane in it:mad: Still pulls 20 so its going into service. Have 1/2 the woods on the gast so its OK but looking for replacements. I look like the Beverly Hillbillys running down I80 with a pallet tank, vacuum beast, go kart, Miss spelled sign and a set of warped pans:emb:

Haynes you actually going to try and make syrup again this year.We have a bet you either hurt yourself or burn something before the seasons over.
Those ball are what size. I have a use for the check valves if I could ever find some here.I buy up all the used coffe makers in the country for the check valves in them with the little red balls. Buying a handfull of the check valves would be tres cheaper.
