Poked a few holes today, was getting a few drips late. I think the season is about to decend on us, ready or not.

Maybe this weekend will be good. They are calling for temps in the 40's both days. Unfortunately we may not get a frost until Saturday night, so maybe we'll have enough to sweeten the pan on Sunday. We'll see...

We collected about 40 gallons from 90 taps yesterday afternoon, before this rain. Not much run on Thursday, hoping for more this weekend. I'll probably hang 50 more buckets on Saturday if it looks like the season is going to take off. We're still cleaning the sugarhouse and hope to boil on Sunday. Good Luck.
