Well today was a big day. Signed on a new Kubota M5640 with a loader. Drove it around at the dealer for a while and what a dream it was to use. Should be delivered in the next few days and then its right to work collecting sap. Ohhh I cant wait!! Ill post pics when it arrives on site.

Can it remove snow? If so, give me a call.

Good luck with it. It will be a handy machine to own. I wish I had one right now!

Make sure you got ag tires on it. If not you will have a hard time getting around in the woods. Those stupid industrial tires they put on all the compacts suck. 4 wheel drive or not. Borrowed a brand new one last year and had to do the bucket crawl everywhere even though I had driven the same paths a dozen time with mine without a problem. Those tires are made for flat paved parking lots and even then they still suck. Make sure you got them. You will love it even more if you dont and change them out.

It's got the ag tires on it...I made sure of that and yes it can move snow. The dealer let me move snow around with bucket. It should be deliverd by the end of The week. They are putting on another remote hook up and loading the tires for me. Can't wait to get it home and play for awhile.

Thats great you where on the ball with the tires and getting them loaded to boot. Its amazing what you can find that needs a good tractor to get done that never needed doing before.

Here's the pick of the new kubota. Just collected 150 gallons from the hill. Drove up and back through 16 inches of snow with out even spinning a tire. What a treat to collect in style!!!! Doubled the hours on it today too...it now has 5.1 hours lol.

That baby has the bigger tires on the front. Sweeeeet. Is it geared or Hydro?

Its geared. Would have been another 3 grand for hydro and I've been using old Ford Super Majors my whole life so it just wasn't worth the extra money for hydro. Boy does this puppy make some ruts though. The one down fall is the trial it leaves behind...what fun it will be to fix all those.

if theres not too many roots in the trail a box scraper might be good to own or rent my buddy uses one on his farm and it works great at smoothing out ruts

I hate hydrostatic tractors. Nothing like hooking up to a big old log and knowing its going to pull it rather than sit there and do nothing.
