I have just completed lining my arch with arch board and have some left over, so is there any way to attach it to inside of fire door on arch?
I see what looks like some have bolted on, but is it easy to drill the cast or is there some kind of very high heat glue that would work. TIA

It should be very easy to drill and tap the cast iron in you door. I did just that on an old Vogelzang door once. I think I used #10 stainless bolts and fender washers to hold on ceramic blanket.

just getting ready to do mine that way. I have a Vogelzang door also. hoping for the weather to break in the UP but it's wishful thinking this early in the year. Tapped a few trees yesterday and got a little drip out of a few but it was only 26.
