how cold in maple country?

It was -12 here in Fairfax,VT this morning at 6am. It is currently 0 F right now......we need a good freeze though if the sap's going to run tomorrow!.......(just kidding).

went to my daughters elementary concert last night. quite a few guys ask me if the sap was flowing!! ha ha

In Oneida, NY We had -8 F this morn at 5:45 and no wind. Right now +13 F degrees and expected low tonight forcast at 8 above.

-6 when I got to work in New Boston yesterday, :D ,the old Detroit Deisel cranked a little hard but fired up for me,,,it dosnt get any better than this for logging......

You guys out east are getting the cold that we had several days ago. Here in western Wisconsin its now around 28 above and just got a good 6 inches of snow.....finally!
Hopefully this keeps the frost from going down much deeper in the woods...a good blanket.

It has been in the single digits to upper teens, here in Forest Co. Pa, for the last 8 days with about a foot of snow on the ground. The ground hasn't frozen and probably won't for a while,as we will more than likely keep our snow well into the new year. More snow and ice expected to day. look out New Engand it is coming your way

-2 right now. snow, sleet, freezing rain friday. ice is my biggest worry after the ice storm up north. I cringed listening to lew staats talk about those mangled trees.

Started the week Dec 12 at -14 F in the morning with wind made it feel like -20, they were calling for warmer weather by the weakend and woke up this mornig to +22 this morning . By the way this is in northeastern Ontario, canada littel place called Verner.

4 degrees this morning. supposed to be 40 and heavy rain wednesday.

I had 2 degrees this morning, supposed to be near 50 Wed. first light.
Right now we are getting freezing rain, changing over to all rain about midnight.
