Where is spring

had 2 nice days in Lisbon NY (St Lawrence County) and now back to winter taps ran a little still waiting for the big runs hope they come lots of snow so when it does start to warm up and run should have lots of moisture 16 degrees this morning

had good run Sat & Sat night, Today two foot of snow, wind Still blowing,
Temp about 15 f
left sap in woods,Frozen solid, I'll go get it when the snow drops a couple feet & it thaws out.

and we are getting whacked again this morning with another big snowstorm:mad:

well its finally running 265 taps are awake lookes like a good day for tommrow should e able to collect about 150 to 200 gallons of sap tommrow afternoon will wait till saturday to boil i think 2011 syrup is just a few days away :):D
