Yeah, after all the worry of our first year trying to get set up with tubing and vacuum and an entire new evaporator, we have sap! The pump is running and the releaser is dumping avery 20 seconds! Oh, my husband is one smart guy to figure all this out! I have it all on video, got to stop screaming though every time the sap comes out, I'm just as excited as he is! Stepped off the trail he made with the snowmobile and he had to help me back out, oh well... Scared our poor little corgi, she couldn't figure out what all the yelling was about. We walked back down the trail, Ron rode the snowmobile. Boiling for the first time on Sunday! Went down to town for shopping before the storm hits (high winds right now, windmills are turning real well, lots of power) and passed a few other places that we know, they were going flat out. More open and lower altitude. Good luck everybody!
