I tapped last weekend. 35 taps so far about 10 more tomorrow. Very little sap so far, but my woods is always a slow starter. Felt very good to see some sap dripping today when I returned from work!

We just finished putting in 39 taps today. 27 degrees F here and there is very little sap flowing. We have a few more taps and may put a couple more in. My son and I had 19 taps total last year, our first time. Hopefully the sap starts flowing soon, we're on our last pint from last year.

Put in just a few today to see what was happening....not too much. Will probably finish tomorrow.

Trees are not slow starters your the quick starter..........SLOW it down and tap when the sap is flowing.

Now the trees are really dripping! Will cook most of the weekend.
