Here at work daydreaming about sitting in the shack with the steam flowing, and I was wondering what kind of March will we have. To date the trees have not started running.
I have not gotten enough to fire up the evaporator but hopefully soon.
Wondering if other folks are experiencing the same things and your thoughts for this season.

Nothing yet but soon very soon. :)

Last year first sap was March 6th.

tapped in this afternoon and had a couple drip. I wasn't very happy about trudging through 3 feet + of snow but that first ting in the bucket made it all worth it. Hang on ya'll I think it's coming!!!

poor weatha.

I tapped last week on snow shoes, which was the last time I saw any sun. :(
