View Full Version : How to drain off condensation from preheater pans and piggyback pans

I see that alot of you have preheater pans, piggyback pans, and enclosures around your evaporators.

How do you collect the condensation that forms on the bottom of them which would totaly defeat the purpose of having them if they are just putting that much moister back into the main pans?

Im researching for my build next year.

If you have one of those piggyback pans like on Half Pints, slide it back so it hangs over the rear of the pan and tilt it so the condensate runs that way. Those aren't very effective. Hoods and pre haters have collection trays and channels.
