How's the tapping going? [Archive]

Hello,

I don't know about everybody else, but the weahter is really below average for me (10 to 20 degrees cooler). Last year at this time I had tapped my trees and started boiling. Last years season was short enough, but this year I'm afraid it's going to be shorter yet. :cry: I guess I just have to blame the weatherman!!

I just saw a report that most of Canada can expect spring to come slowly and be cooler than normal - which is good sugaring weather! Freezups for a few days followed by thaws mean MOOOONNNSTERSAAAAAPPPPP!!!! What do those stupid groundhogs know anyways...

I agree, I think everyone is going to be going nonstop for a pretty good period of time, I think it will be hard to keep up for many folks
