Happy 10th Anniversary to Maple Trader!

10 years ago today, March 3rd, 2001, the Maple Trader domain name was officially registered as an add-on message board to the Maple Guys web site. It has since grown from a handful of New England producers to include maple producers in the farthest reaches of the maple belt, West Coast big leaf producers, and even Northern birch syrup producers. Congratulations and thank you to all of you as it's your participation here that makes the site what it is today. Okay now... big group hug! :D

Give me a break... it was 5:30 in the morning and "hung" is in my spell check dictionary. :rolleyes: Either way, 10 years is a real accomplishment for any web site and I certainly respect the people and $$$ that it took to do that.

Very true. I've learned alot here and it's great to be able to talk to people who never get sick of hearing about maple syrup.

The ones I know are still active are lobstafari, mapleman3, Russell Lampron, & murferd... all of which date back to 2002 ~ 2003.

I'm one of the old guys (literally-almost 50). I've learned a bunch of info from alot of different producers. No sense reinventing the wheel if somebody has already do it.

Thanks to the Maple Guys & all the moderators! I don't post alot but check in everyday, 365.
