I am looking at a 2x6 unit with a Galvanized Pan
are there any problems with boiling with this pan.
Thanks
Dean
Galv or english tin big difference.
Galv is very bad for boiling on. Plenty of people still use english tin.

Hey Dean, must of work out those issues when we last talked. glad to here it. I see you found another rig. I wouldnt boil in a galvanized pan do to the fact its not food grade and you are making something that in fact is. sap storage and collecting is another story but actually make the end product in a galv pan I dont believe would be safe. stainless ,copper, and english tin are the most common metals used in the industry. Hope this helps
