Stove Paint Rustoleum????

Hey guys. Just finished up the expansion on our homemade 2x6 evaporator and turned it into a 2x7. Front pan is 24x32 and back is 24x48. Setting in the cook shack next Saturday. My question is that I used stove paint good to 1000 degrees. Has anybody else tried this stuff and does it actually work or will it burn out?

If the sides of your rig get to 1000 degrees your in big trouble. Yes it will work fine. Mine has it in it and all is well after 7 years. Even the burnt on syrup blends in with it:)

I painted mine with it also. It will smoke a little when you fire it up for the first time. CURING I guess you would call it.
