Price of aluminum buckets

We were in TSC today,and I was amazed at the price they wanted for buckets,$19.95 each,that would be alot for a backyard producer even with 20 taps,my wife and I remarked that the backyard producer would be farther ahead to buy a roll of 5/16 tubing,spoils,tees,etc,and would still be money ahead.

Was in the Co-Op here today and they had buckets with $17:98 price tags on them.Thankfully they had another sign said Rabis $4:98 instead.Bought a few and more metal covers. Wanted to ask if the dead mouse came extra with the one bucket I looked into. I have to go over and check D&Gs store and see what they have them for. They usually have the spouts for a cheaper price.

Are they traditional aluminum sap buckets or just aluminum pails? Never seen the sap bucket in there before. Either way thats way to much money. I bought very good used aluminum buckets for 3.25 cents each and was happy with them.

They were the sap buckets,same as what I bought years ago for$2.00-$2.50 each.
