55 Gallon drum?

I have a 55 gallon #2 plastic drum that originally had 70% Rubbing alcohol in it. Do you think it would be safe to use this drum to trans port sap after cleaning it out? What should I use to clean it out with? Any thought and/or comments? :confused:

If it only had that in it then I would rinse with water. If its been open to the air I dont believe there is any residue, smell or taste.

Considering most guys spray tap holes with alcohol washing the barrel with fresh water would get it clean and the heat will do the rest.

you can always use the drum liners, too. There cheap.
