5 gallon plastic storage bags

I was talking to a local supplier about bulk storage. The had said they were getting in some 5 gallon plastic storage bags that you hot pack, and place in any 5 gallon bucket. They also said the syrup will keep for a very long time in these. If anyone has used them, how did they work out? Are the worth buying?

Dou you just leave them open and put in the 5 gallon bucket or is there a sealer that seals them up? Like a food saver.

Yes there is a seal on them. I'm going to try some. They tell me everyone who has used said they work well.

My question is how do you fill these? I have 5 of them and they are extremely long. Much longer than a 5 gal bucket. Looks to me like they almost have to be laid on their side and filled.
