curious if anyone knows what an older Leader 2x6 Vermonter drop flue in good condition would be worth?

A 2000 King Leader 2x6 no extras was 2450.00 brand new at Bascoms. Soldered pans, Split evenly with 8 drop flues.
Hope this gives you a base line.
heres some pics of just the rig

Didn't the Vermonter use a 3 pan set-up? Maybe I'm thinking too far back.
Tin or stainless? Soldered or welded? Each has an impact on price. I've seen Leader 2x6 rigs from $800 to $4000. Things to consider:

-Condition of arch (rusted out? warped grates? bricked? broken/cracked castings?)
-Accessories included (floats, valves, preheater, hood, blower, etc)

Hope it helps.

That was the vermont special wasn't it? With a drop flue pan in the middle of the arch?

My '80s and '90s Leader catalogs show the Vermont with 3 pans, but the middle pan was the syrup pan and the front and rear were flue (the front being only 2.5" deep flues).

For me, that would be a rig that would be tough to get used to running. It's just second nature to be drawing off from the front pan. I'd be forever looking at the wrong pan.

What mess. I don't see nuthin.

That front pan looks familiar, must be a newer flue pan.
