I have a D&G electric releaser and the PVC adapter that goes into the elbow on the releaser has two o-rings on it and I'm not sure if they are just there for shipping or if they actually do an adequate job of sealing?
Local dealer doesn't use vacuum so he doesn't know. I could call up D&G but you guys are a wealth of knowledge at my finger tips. :)

They do not need to be cemented. The O rings hold the vacuum. The set up also allows you to pivot the manifold if neccessary to make connections to your mainlines easier and to stay out of the way of your hi tensile.

Just keep it clean and greased. If its like the Bernard it is what allows the tanks to change so it needs to move freely.
