Sap Hauler: Abigail Joy

4:56 am on the 22nd my first sap hauler got dropped off. 7 lbs 14oz and 20.5 inches of horse power. Mom and Abigail(named in honor of Abigail Adams) are doing great. She will be Maple baptized by sap in a matter of days. Now to find some hours to get my mainlines side tied...

Congratulations! Mine are 27, 24 and 9. If i could only get them to help!! But i do have a backup plan. It is my 2 year old grand daughter.Enjoy your little sap hauler!!!

Congratulations!! I'll admit, being Canadian, that I had to google Abigail Adams to see who she was. What a great honour to be named after such a strong intellectual woman. I love the idea of a baptism with sap. This will be your happiest season yet!! cvmaple

Congrats! and good name choice! Make sure you spend plenty of time with her over the next couple months. Our 4th was born Jan 7, and I feel like I missed the first 6 weeks of his life because I was sugaring!
