Anyone got any ideas on how to patch up a galvanized tank? My holding tank leaked almost all of last week's run from a slow dripping leak underneath the tank. Oh well, at least its good to work the kinks out early but gotta get patched up before any more big runs come. Any ideas???

Its times like this that make us move to better equipment. Now can you get to it from the inside? If so I would scrub the area and get some flex sealant that you sandwitch between a chunk of Aluminum. There has to be about 100 differant sealants that would work and be food grade. NOW I see people use all sorts of sealants to seal pumps that are used for water. If its just a rust pit that is round I would get a bolt and washers with rubber hose gasket and bolt it thru the hole.
