need a bit of help

1st year on vacuum. I got a HOBBY 500 EXTRACTOR. It fills up and does not dump. the sap goes back in to the line and in to the vacuum line. but the thing is is it runs good for a bit then that happens. does anyone have any tips on what should be done?

if it works for a while then quits, try cleaning it very good and apply a small amount of food grade grease to the actuator parts could be gumming up. also check to make sure there are no cracks in your float.

Make sure it is sitting perfectly level. Fought this problem too and found that often being just slightly out of level will cause the problem.

Thanks guys for the tips!! I don't think that it is level. so ill fix that and see what happens.
