Defoamer cups

I just purchases some defoamer cups for my pans. Just wondering how high above the sap level I should mount the cups?

You dont want them filling with sap so start high and lower till you like it. Dont let them fill with splashing sap.

I'm wondering if anyone ever used grape seed oil as a refoamer? Sorry for getting off track. I agree, start high and move it down until you find the foam line.
