Well I think I am ready !?!?!?! After work headed out to put up my small 150 taps to work. Here we go. Hope it's better than last year !!

Finished tapping and did test run with pump on. Had to repair couple of leaks but all seems go, for a hopefully nice early run tomorrow and friday. Tomorrow I got to get the RO washed and try to see if I can remember how the evap. goes back together. Good luck to all.

Thanks Dave . Good luck to you too !! Got 78 in last nite before the snow hot to deep for the tractor. Hopefully the next day or two I can get in and get the other 80 in.

Hmmm !! 9 days and a total of 50 gal of sap. I just may have to cool my jets and not tap till march next year.

At last !?!?! We had a good run late yesterday into this morning. Hope to collect 100 gal after work and get a good run on my home made steam away to see what exactly the improvment will be. Last year I had that sportsman pushing 25 gph with a preheater and hood. My dream this year is 32 gph with the improvments.

I ran with my new home made steam away and averaged 30 gph. Ran out of sap before I got everything dialed in. Now waiting just like everybody else on some sap.

Well I am sitting at 26 of my 30 Gal goal. Waiting for this freeze to let up and hopefully have one last long boil to show my dad my set up. He did it years ago and now he is in a wheel chair due to a stroke a couple years ago and realy wants to see the action again. Would realy be nice to get him in the sticky air again to relive this work intense hobby for a bit. Till then hope all are having a good year !!
