Anyone know what a vacuum booster tank is or how they work.

They are just a larger volume tank to minimise temporary surges. It is placed up in the bush. Technically they are not boosters but rather jut a reservois. They help smoth out vac levels beyond the "booster". If you think you need one, just mount a length of 4 or even 6" PVC pipe. put a vac inlet and outlet on it and you have a vacuum "booster". Be sure to design a way to drain condensation and to wash the "booster".
