I have a chance to get a tote tank that a village has.....it had chlorine in it for their water system. Would this be o.k. for sap collecting or storage?

I looked at one just like that for $50 and the guys said they washed it out with a pressure washer and you still couldn't get your head near the hole because your eyes would start burning. found a guy by me that has them for $75 that are food grade certified, it was a much better buy. he has them washed out already and they had a coating for Arbys wrappers in them. Look and smell brand new.

I would stay away from the chlorine tote. Don't take a chance on that. There are a handfull of ad's for these totes on here and Craigslist. Look around and find someone who has some that had a food-type product in them.

why take the gamble? dont even consider a tote that had chlorine in it, it is your name on your finished product. Spend the extra money, it will be worth it in the long run.
