i just thought i would post a pic of the small bender style releaser i bought from a dairy supply company and setup to use on about 80 taps, so far it has cycled only a few times but seems to be working well. the other picture is my 1.5 hp gast dry vane pump in the little hut i made for it with the vac regulator and moisture trap. it supplys vac for both the small releaser and also my 400 gal zero tank that about 1000ft away

I like your way of thinking. I like the pump set up looks good. Cool looking dairy tank. I have a similar tank and its all ugly and rusty on the steel outer skin. If I cleaned it up and stripped all the crap off showing the SS it would get stolen:o

Did you find that releaser locally or buy it off the net somewhere? I assume it's new.

Thanks for the info, please keep us updated on how this unit works out for you. Seems to be pretty cost effective for the small guy.

i added a chamber ahead of it today to take out some of the turbulance and bubbling of the air getting drawn up thru the sap, seems to have gained about a 1/2 hg on the line and made it run alot smoother, it was a quick cobble together but i will get some pics when i can
