I am looking at getting about 1/2 my taps in on Feb. 16th. We are buckets only. Looking at the warm weather coming up and think I will not be too early and maybe get some good light stuff.
The long range "cool down" does not seem like it is going to be all that bad and still produce days over freezing days here on the ridge in Milton.
Anyone think this is too early? I don't want to get caught tapping too late like last year when my head told me I should start earlier, but it seemed WAY too early.
