I was wondering if VT syrup is going to be worth more this season? (Bruce Bascom had an article saying it would be in high demand). I also think it's funny that Bruce always said to boil that last bit of sap to squeeze out that last bit of syrup; and now they are not interested in commercial grade. I think they may have paid more for VT syrup at one point, but I don't know about now. Maybe it is the new stainless steel rule in place having an effect on the price. I asked about it when I was up in Alstead and they didn't wanna comment, even though it was on the inside cover of their catalogue.
