I was on the Leader site yesterday and noticed that they have a gray colored tubing. THe one reason why I ahve been planning on using sacks rather than tubing is cause I didnt want to look at a bunch of blue tubing behind the house. Has anyone used the gray tubing and does the mainline come in the same color?

I think it's just lateral lines. They also have green. You could put up black lines?

Yeah I see that. No, I will only need one mainline and can deal with it I guess. and it will only need to be 3/4"

I have 2 acres of the bright blue and then 12 acres of the gray, it is much easier on the eyes. I have only just installed it in the last 2 months so we have yet to see how it blends in with the green of summer. I can send a pic if you want.

I like the 30G for the reason that it blends in with the foliage

I like the 30p blue for liability you never know when a snowmobile will cut through your property, posted or not.

I just installed this fall about 6 rolls of it on a piece of property. The owner only had one request and that was they didnt realy want it visable from the road or the house. I bought grey 30p and ran it they came up (2nd home owners) and said they didnt even notice i had put it up. I walk the line with the husband of the house and he said it looked good and really appreciated how need and orderly it all was installed. The 30p to start the job fell apart, Im chaulking it up to one bad roll. the rest of the 5 roll I bought worked great. Im a big fan of it now, pulled up pretty tight and no sags.

30p lats and 3/4 blk mains cant even see them

Just go to your local tractor supply and get some water well pipe. Thats what i use. And i think that the blue tubing actually looks nice. It grows on you.

nah, I will stay with the 30P. I am only planning on one 3/4" mainline anywyas. I could do I blue, just it will be very visible right behidn the house, maybe it doesnt really matter, havent decided.

I like the 30P blue. I find 30P (likely any color) is easier to install than black tubing.

Peace,

That is the only tubing I buy now but it doesn't disappear like you think it would and is still very visible. I would think gray would be best with no leaves and green with leaves on.

I'm planning to try some green laterals when we put up any new taps. It should disappear in summer and be very visible in winter. We get very few ATV's through our woods in the summer but in the winter there are a number of snowmobiles that travel through (its not a maintained trail) and I'd hate someone to get their head taken off by a lateral line they didn't see.

I'd like to see some pics of the grey 30P laterals in both summer and winter to see how well it blends in.

I ran all green Laterals this year. If you cant see the stuff with the snow your eyes are not open. The reason I went with it is exacally what you guys are saying, kids ride my snowmobiles all the time. I also flagged all the side ties with flouresenct green flagging tape. I am curious as to how visible it is in the summer.

All of my 6000 taps are with 30p green and lapierre green. I like the lapierre better. But everyone has there own preference. Green does blend in nice in the spring and summer.

all my lats are blue and not real noticable, but my mainline down by the road sure shows up when i changed it from black to leader blue, but i kinda like the look!

It is so much harder to work with when you dont have good tubing tools. I use the flexable stuff and I work like 30 times faster. I just think that the extra money you pay is worth it. I will never go back. i am going to call leader and see if they have it as a special order or something.

I like to be able to see into it but the black is cheaper. And more available to me
