the weather report is tempting, but I am not sure the run will be much since next week is calling for only high 30s and rain/snow/ice. I only have 30 buckets so I can get it done quick. Don't want to tap to early and have the taps open too long if no sap is moving. I'll see what they say friday or saturday about the next week or so. stiffleJ- where are you in cambria?,

I tapped yesterday and the sap was flowing. Hoping this week will be a good week to start collecting.

I collected 4 gallons yesterday evening out of 9 taps. I don't expect much today, but should pick back up tomorrow.

Placed about 10 buckets Feb 15, then tractor broke down, and finsihed feb 16, yesterday, after fixing tractor. 32 taps in, collected 13 gal in less that a day overall.

Well, I made 2 quarts over the weekend, turned out great. Hoping to boil more next weekend depending on the run this week.
