I only do about 30- 40 quarts a year in my backyard and want to upgrade from my little jelly filter. I have old stainless 40 cup coffee maker I wanted to use to hang a wool cone filter in and wondered if someone could give me the measurements for the 5 and 8 quarts filters. I've never had one and was going to buy one inline.
Is there a "better" one to get. Thanks.

I have a 48 cup drip coffee pot for a filter and bottler, I had an 8 qt cone
filter I had to cut down a little to fit, and I bought a 5 qt for it . So I'd think the 5 qt should work fine for you, it has to be short enough that it's not on the bottom of the pot, mine is a bout 2 inches up, hope this helps!

Thank You. I thought that the 8 quart might be too large. I will buy a 5 quart one then and prefilters.
