I am so excited! I am a newbie…complete newbie, but in doing A LOT of research, I have ordered a 2x4 Mason. Spoke with Bill this afternoon and he is shipping one to WI in late Feb., so he would LOVE to send another on the same shipment. I got SOOO lucky on this one. I appreciate all of the great response that I have read about him, and after speaking to him, I agree, What a wonderful person to deal with. A top notch guy. Looking forward to the arrival of my new addiction with gusto~ YAHOO!:D

Fantastic and I'm with you! If you search W.F. Mason on maple trader you not find a single negative post about his workmanship, service, or pricing (despite the saying you can not please all the people all the time). I'm sure you will be thrilled with your new rig and it will bring hours of enjoyment for you and all whom visit during sugar season. I say I'm with you because I've also ordered a 2 x 4 but with a very odd-ball pan set-up designed to process small batches for delivery after this year's maple season.

Congrats. I also bought a 2 x 4 from Mr. Mason this summer. I drove to his place to pick it up. I called him while bricking it and he was able to help me out. I can't wait to fire it up. He has been great to deal with. It's hard to find good customer service these days and it's nice to deal with someone who understands what it's all about.

Congrats. If it wasn't for coming across a used 2x6 Leader I would have ordered one from him. Got my gas finisher from him and it's top notch. You won't be disappointed!

Enjoy!

Fishgill, Do you have pictures of your brick job? I got a Mason 2x4 this fall and just started bricking it this past weekend. Bill and his wife delivered it and they were top notch people.

It's great to hear such praise for Mason evaporators from all over maple sugar country. Bill is A1 in my book and our Mason 2'x4' works and looks great. I think the best advertisement is a satisfied customer. Congrats GramaCindy, I'm glad that you'll get one for this season. You're right, you are very lucky. Good Luck and have fun.

I bought a 2’ x 4’ with a blower from Bill this last summer as well. As everyone has said Bill is absolutely excellent to deal with and builds nice quality, sturdy, affordable units. I test boiled for a couple hours last week and am excited to get it fired up in a few weeks and make my first syrup off of it!
