Only pans made out of silver would transfer heat better than those, but not by much!

When I die, I want to be buried in those pans. Provided no one is still using them to make syrup. And if so, I'll wait.

I just posted that link on the copper evap thread in Homemade. Beautiful work. But I have to ask, How much?
Your back yard setup is really nice as well, most designers wouldn't have bother with the drop flues on that small a pan but I bet it will out perform almost all other backyard sized rigs.
