surge vacum pumps

Is there a difference between the Surge BB2 and the BB3? What size electric motors and pulleys are needed to operate these pumps? Thank you for any imput you sugar makers can give me.

The bb2 is older than the bb3. Now the sp-11 has also been called the bb3/sp11. I believe it is a trifle smaller than a bb3. I would have to measure the pulleys on sp-11 of mine.
