Got a weird question for you guys. Have you ever taken a stubby spout and just tried to use it as a tap? Will it seal up like a regular 7/16 tap? Theron

I haven't tried it but I don't think it would work. I don't think there is enough of a taper to allow it to seal good.

Jeff- Thats what I was wondering. Plus if there was much tree bark that would probly make it though is what I was thinking. Theron

He is wanting to start tapping in November and then ream holes to 7/16 about March 1st so he can make syrup 6 months out of the year. Maybe Dr Perkins has a good therapists he can recommend! :)

No therapist can cure what he has...but how about a prescription? Bombay Sapphire Gin*, take 1-2 doses in the evening. Cures whatever ails you. :)

* Other spirits of your choosing may be substituted.

No, guarantee we don't know and probably don't want to know. We know you won't be happy until you get a gallon per tap! LOL!
