tubing what to do????

Hello to all,
I just got some half inch mainline and 5/16 tubing this past week. I'm wondering what to do? I have 50 taps on one hillside of my property and wondering if i run mainline or just run 5/16 to the bottom. It right around 150ft from farthest tree to the bottom. Oh ya by the way it will be gravity and its to help out on the bucket side of things because i have other trees i could use the buckets on that are in a remote area. thanks in advance cpmaple

If the hill is steep try going just 2 or maybe 3 laterals and go from top to bottom with no main. If less steep, try about 4 laterals. The main thing is to consider how much snaking back and forth the trees require the lateral to go. Many times it takes less tubing to make another lateral rather than serpentine around the trees. If the trees were all in a straight line you would just go 2 or maybe even 1 lateral.
