It reminded me last weekend how simplistic yet catchy the sugarhouse roadsigns are in NY. The green ones with the bucket hanging on the tree. Anybody know if they are available for purchase to out of staters?

The official NY road signs are only available with approval for use by the state. However, the NYSMPA has some the same look but slightly smaller that you likely could buy. I bought some a couple years back thru the association to use near the road at my sugarhouse. I don't remember the price but it must have been reasonable or I would not have gotten 2. In NYS the Dept of Transportation must approve them to be used on the roadside and the price each is quite high. Check with Pa to see if you would be allowed to use roadside signs. If they are not on the road right of way, you don't need state permission. Many towns/villages/cities etc have sign requirements but my experience is they don't bother farmers as much.

Thanks Dave. I wasn't looking to put on a road, just thought it would look cool on the sugarhouse! I'll contact them to see if they are still for sale
