Well, lets hear the latest stories from last year on those of you who are using sap sacks. I am planning on usign them when I get started (sometime!). I hear that the blue bags dont get bothered by the tree rats as much as the clear? Anyone hear this before?

I just started using blue bags and holders last year after years of using buckets for years.
No washing buckets!!!!!!
I give the used bags after the season to a plumbing supply house that uses them for parts bags for their customers.
I will never go back to buckets--buying more bags and holders this year.
No problems with tree rats at all or maybe I should say yet.
A coyote bit through one bag though last year--nice dental impression.

well that is good news. I was wondering what I would do with the disposable bags. I dont like the fact that I will be using something disposable and couldnt be reused but that sounds like something that I could look into. How many gallons do you bags hold? I have heard 2 gallons?
