Anyone have any suggestions for a homeade releaser ??

I have a vaccum pump but no releaser don't want to invest to much more this year, need to get a filter press first.( Priority crystal clear delicous syrup) But I am a pretty mechanical guy and would like to give vaccum a run if I can make it work now not costing close to 800.00 = 16 gallons of syrup Thanks for the help

I think we'd need to know how many taps. Guessing from your evaporator size, I'd say a milk releaser (bender) may be too small. Check out the thread below. Others have made similar releasers. You need to be very resourceful on getting the parts. It still may cost a few hundred dollars to make.
