We just had the joy of bringing home sap hauler #4:) We were blessed with a healthy, content baby boy, Jedidiah Mark. 8lbs, 1 oz, 21 inches long. He arrived Jan 7, just in time to give dad a couple weeks off work to tap trees and finish the sugar shack:D uh. . . I mean help take care of baby and mom;)

congrats- you need to some day get him up to the Jedidiah Smith wilderness area on the Idaho/Wyoming border. Beautiful country... best wishes.

Interesting that you mention that - Jedidiah Smith, and what I have read about him, was a big part of the reason we gave him the name we did! And I do plan on visiting that area as the kids get older.

Fantastic, and a great name. We have one on the way in 5 weeks, is it good luck to be born in a sugar house?
