Well not sure what has happened but the wood shed is full to the rafters. Pans were cleaned again last week. New roof on half the sugarhouse today and rest tomorrow. Vacuum lines put back up across the roadway. You'd think I was actually getting things done ahead of schedule. Still have to replace stack on evaporator. Looking to add 100+ more taps on vacuum, neighbor wants me to tap his trees. Then there will be a scramble to put in RO if all goes well. Not a chance I'll get everything done on time.

Sounds like you will be ready to go. I myself just placed another order for supplies today. My syrup pan was sent out last August to be fixed and will be here next week. I will be ready I hope. Just need to get things cleaded up.
Question* Dose anyone know where I can get lables made with my logo on them?

I just got email from the same label maker today. You can also try a local print shop. When they are not busy you'd be amazed at what some will do to build up a customer base.

main lines are up and i have a few more lateral lines to run. doing a few mods to the boiler but other than that im ready to blow some steam. just picked myself up a new sap hauler. 1985 ski doo alpine. she is a tank for sure, but it sure will pull some weight in lo range.

its funny you say that. i was at my local snowmobile club yesterday and they where trying to get a 14ft. pipe drag that was froze to the ground out to use. someone made a joke about me hooking up my alpine to it to pull it out. before everyone was done laffin i was already hooked up to it and headed down ITS83...... No one thought it could be done i guess. ended up pullin that thing around for 3 hours. lol trails look great:D

I'm really starting to think we might run out of time....

so far we have extended the mainline, took down a section of tubing that we used with gravity last year (laterals with 20+ taps on them), extended the arch so we can add our 7' flue pan.

Still left to do: Set up vacuum pump, replace and add some laterals, finish rebuilding the arch, finish building arch for finisher, and im sure there is a list I'm not thinking of right now. It all needs to get done with a very limited amount of time throughout the week to do it, I don't know why I do this to myself, you would think I would learn to not save everything until the last minute lol.

mainely i wouldent hit the panic button yet. the temps seem to be holding pretty well. i still have a little power list myself, tho im not running a operatipn as big as yours either. one day at ah time, isnt that what they say:)

Spent the past couple days thinning in the woods. New section ready to run tubing in now. Glad to get that done before this snow. Wish the mainline was up.

Glad to see I'm not the only one completely re-working their arch...and there's nothing wrong at all about classic tractors. I'm not a Ford fan, but I give respect to their design and durablility. Those N-series tractors just keep going and going and...It's all looking good!

hey Mainely how did the tractor handle the snow? We are going to have a good season now that we have the snow cover. That's what all the old timers use to say when we were younger.

Got some new wire and mainline up today. Still have more to do but at least got some done before the next weather mess.

Finally got the arch finished and bricked and put the pans on today... things are coming along slowly but surely
