so this year with having a few more lines coming into my zero vac tank as well as a wet dry line setup i needed a manifold ontop of my tank, didnt want to spend 300 bucks on one from the catalog so made this setup with a piece of 6 inch potable water pvc and spent under 15 bucks on the latches and o ring to seal the removable end, the other end i glued on. i machined the o ring groove in the lathe so it fits snug

the cover is plexiglass i believe, dont think its lexan from the way it machined. it was a piece that had been what appeared to be like a serving table to go onto a wheelchair. its 3/8 thick, i think it should work ok.

mcmaster carr is where i got them, along with the silicone o ring to seal the end. just go to mcmaster.com and put in part number 1863A21 and you will see the clamps, they are around 6 bucks i think. i buy a ton of stuff from them, the ups man stopped in one day and as i was starting to crawl out from under the bulldozer he said "just the usual mcmaster carr i will just leave it on the bench for you" lol. they are great to deal with and i buy a ton of fittings and hardware and even some tools from them.
